How to avoid jams in your HP CM6040 fuser area

We find it very common for users of the HP Cm6040 printers to get jams in the transfer or fuser area, especially when printing full page photos or documents with a high page coverage. The printer will show the error of jam in fuser area or jam in transfer area and you have to open the RHS door and remove the jam. Often it is caught up in the fuser which is the hot component on the side. Even after you remove the jam the following page will jam also in the same area.

To avoid these jams you can turn your paper around to portrait in the trays. This causes less sufrace area to be able to jam in the fuser when printing those full page images. Your choice is to either put all of your trays around this way, or you can simply put one tray around this way and just ensure you select the right tray when printing the full page images.

It might b eeasier just to turn around all the trays to A4-R to avoid this issue all together.
