- On the Home screen of the printer control panel, touch Settings,
- Then touch Fax.
- The Internal Fax Modem Setup must be configured to fax from your printer. If it says Not configured on the printer control panel, touch Internal Fax Modem Setup.
- Select your location, and then touch Next.
- Touch the Company Name field and use the keyboard to enter the name.
- Touch the Fax Number field, enter the fax number.
- Touch the button to close the keyboard, and then touch Next.
- Verify the date and time displayed are correct, and then touch Next.
- If required for sending faxes, enter a dialing prefix, and then touch Next.
- Verify the setup information, and then touch Finish.
- Verify the Internal Fax Modem Setup is Configured.
- Customize fax settings for the printer from each menu. Touch Fax Send Settings.
- Touch Done on each screen to save any changes.
- Touch Fax Receive Settings to customize incoming faxes.
- Touch Done on each screen to save any changes.
- Fax Forwarding gives the option to forward faxes to a different number.
- Return to the home screen of the printer control panel and send or receive faxes as needed.
